ECC IDES EHP6 webgui – service can not be reached problem

Spread the love

You can access your SAP ECC 6.0 EHP6 IDES system using your web browser in the same way as you access your SAP Netweaver system. You have to set the HTTP port number to 8000 using the parameter icm/server_port_0 using RZ10 t-code

I have wrote an article on configuring SAP GUI for HTML in SAP Netweaver system long back here.

When i tested my ECC 6.0 EHP6 IDES system today, I was able to log on to the system, but not able to perform any function inside, I am getting the errors like session not found or service can not be reached

What i found is that, there is a t-code called SICF_SESSIONS which need to be executed and then should select a related client and click activate button on the application toolbar. I have done this, the problem is solved. Now I am able to perform all the activities through my google chrome browser perfectly.

I am accessing my ECC 6.0 EHP6 IDES system from my laptop over network. You can go through the following screen shots to get an idea on this experiment.
