Sunset spot of kanyakumari

Sunset spot at Kanya Kumari is 3 kilo meters away from hotel Madhini. The spot was beautiful covered the she shore with full of big rocks. We can sit on these rocks while watching live sunset. Also, we can have small bath in the ocean for fun. We went to this spot on February 17, 2010 to see the sunset. This day the sky was little cloudy. That is why; the picture taken was not having clear sun. Even though, the whole picture taken was beautiful. That is why I added the photo to this post. I will add other photos which are taken at this spot if anybody likes this picture. We can go to this spot by auto, car or even by walking. You will not find any shops at this spot to refresh. Some outside traders used to sell mango pieces, nuts, chocolates, ice creams etc.
Kanya kumari is especially popular in India for the spectacular and unique sunset and sunrise. The flowing together of three ocean bodies they are the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea – makes the sunset and sunrise even more special. On the balmy day, full-moon evenings, one can also see the sunset and moon-rise at the same time. The full-moon evenings is called Chitra Pournami.
