- Intel dual core or core 2 duo processor, you may have high speed processors like AMD or 64 bit Intel processors ( I recommend ECC 6.0 EHP4 instead of ECC 6.0 SR2 for the people who has 64 bit processors). You should dedicate 500GB HDD in this case.
- DVD Drive to copy all the DVDs into software dump drive
- Good power backup (UPS), you have to do this installation from scratch if power goes in between

- Windows server 2003 32 bit with Service pack 2 for installing SAP ECC 6.0 SR2 IDES or Windows Sever 2003 64 bit operating system for installing SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4 IDES
- You should have mother board or Laptop driver CD
- Office 2003 or later to open the installation screen shots
