    Hi

    You can install ECC on your desktop or laptop very easily if you follow the steps carefully. I have listed all these steps in my earlier post. Please find out them and ask me if you get any problem in between.

    Briefly about steps:

    Make partitions as follows…

    C: 20 GB
    D: 200 GB (for IDES)
    E: 45 GB (for IDES)

    Configure Loopback Adapter
    Make Pagefile as 3 times of your RAM
    Install and configure J2SDK
    Install RDBMS
    Start SAPINST
    Select the Central System and follow the on screen steps

    To succeed installation without any error, you should have all exports and remaining softwares error free. I hope it helps you for learning purpose.
