How to install Ricoh Aficio 2018D PCL6 printer

Ricoh Aficio 2018D PCL6 printer is a multifunction printer where we can use this as printer, copier, scanner and fax. This is network printer which will be connected in a TCP/IP network.

The installation of this printer little bit different from other printer installation when there is no original driver CD which comes along with the printer. We have to download a driver from Ricoh site – clcik support – click related region – Click on downloads – Click on I Agree – Select the operating system – Download the driver to your computer and unzip to a some folder in your computer.

Install this printer as local printer in any computer in a network using the downloaded driver. After completion of the driver you have to configure TCP/IP standard port using generic device type. You should be able to print to this printer now. This is to be done from each computer which are all in the same TCP/IP network, You can find or set the IP address of this printer from printer control panel.

Hi Deepak, I do not have the access to printer now. I do not remember the options in the printer. If you have the access, Please provide me with all the options are available in printer. I will try to tell you the procedure to set the IP address. Thanks Raj
