We will get a appointment time and date after applying for a passport online from the website http://passport.gov.in/. We should be ready with filled in application along with all the required documents by appointment time at passport office. Security people will allow only one person for his / her own passport inside the passport campus.

We should form a line to get the token number. It will take approximately 45 minutes. One person will give  a token number with counter name. For example: to apply for tatkal passport i got the token number of TC-34. We should wait inside the passport building at specified counter for document verification. We can sit in a chair in Q.  Approximately the counter person takes 10 minutes time to check one application. It took me around 1 1/2 hour time to get my turn. He checked my application and informed that your passport is applied in vizag which will not come under hyderabad region. As per his information to get passport from hyderabad region, i should submit 3 type of address proofs. He also told that private bank passbook is not valid address proof. He also told me that to come within one hour with all address proofs to complete verification and apply same day, other wise you should take appointment again.

Now i am roaming around different govt. offices to change my address to current address on my Voter ID, Driving license, Ration card. I have completed changing address in Election card in eseva within 10 minutes. I have to visit RTA office and civil supply office to get address changed to my present address on my driving license and ration card. I will post the procedure here to help you people for any difficulties i face in these offices. keep watching.
